After two years of operation, OHSU was very dissatisfied with the services from their commercial affiliate. The service level agreement did not reflect the unique needs of the university. The faculty struggled with a locked-down variant of Sakai that didn’t allow them to access the full toolset enjoyed by the Sakai community. Support was slow and there were unscheduled downtimes. OHSU needed to find a new commercial affiliate and possibly a new learning management system.
